Featuring LA Actor Imari Reynolds

Tell me about your business/brand and how long you’ve been pursuing it: I’m a working actor who’s been in over 20+ film projects in Detroit. Now living in Los Angeles, I’m trying to expand my brand. I’m currently working on 3 film projects. I’ve been pursuing acting for almost 3 years now. My goal is to become worldwide with my brand and not only create a legacy for my family and I but also give others hope who dreamed of pursuing their career as an actor.

What current projects are you working on? I’m currently working on 3 projects. One featured film (Ole’ B.R.Y.C.E), Short film (The Gilded Boy), & Home Time (Comedy Skit). I am proud of everything that got me to where I am today. However, the biggest accomplish I can say I am proud of is that I accept adversaries and tend to overcome them all with consistency.

What is your inspiration? It’s not what inspired me but there were a few few people who inspired me to do what I’m doing now. When I was a little kid, I would always watch Will Smith’s performances. In fact, I knew I wanted to be an actor ever since I saw the movie Hitch. My mom and dad truly inspire me. They sacrificed so much for me. When I was younger, I watched my parents struggle taking care of my two brothers and I. Even today, they go the extra mile for me to make sure I am okay in Los Angeles. My parents are my world!

What does your business/brand fulfill? I’m from a city where there’s not a lot of recognition. I want to change that in my own way. I want to prove to people that anything is possible if you stay true to your dreams. Not just Detroit, but people around the world.

What does your business need? What sets you apart from others? I usually try to stick with the decisions I make. The biggest thing I can’t stress enough is to be independent contractor, you have to network. That is part of the reason why I am constantly working. If you don’t get yourself out there, how would people know what you can do?

When you’re not working, how do you enjoy spending your time? Most times when I finish wrapping big projects, I tend to take a small break. Whenever I can, I usually hang out with some friends. I have a strong passion for sports, art, video games, and music. Luckily, I have friends who likes the same thing. So, that’s what we do on our spare time.

What’s the best way to contact you?
